Andantino (from Schule für die Guitarre) by Johann Kaspar Mertz (1806-1856) for classical guitar. This is a dramatic and exciting little piece. Maybe a bit less melodic than the previous work by Mertz but the scale runs and texture changes can be effective and rhapsodic if used properly.
