Easy Christmas Songs for Guitar – Volume 1

Easy Christmas Songs for Guitar Volume 1 – Solo Fingerstyle Arrangements with Lyrics & Chords. Includes Two Editions: Notation Only & Notation + TAB. Easy melody + bass notes + common shapes, 1st position. These are basically just the melody with the bass note of the chords added. I would barely call these arrangements.

Songs: O Come, O Come Emmanuel; Away in a Manger; Good King Wenceslas; We Three Kings of Orient Are; We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

About the level and arrangements – These easy Christmas arrangements are for beginner or intermediate guitarists looking for easy sight-readable songs for the holiday season. I’ve added the lyrics and chords to make them as useful as possible in group or family settings if singing occurs. More advanced guitarists may wish to improvise or work-out intros and extra accompaniment. Otherwise, the arrangements are simple melodies plus bass notes and some filling out of common first position chords. I wanted to create a nice and simple edition so people can spend the holiday relaxing and not practicing difficult arrangements.

  1. Bradford – many thanks for this collection. I’ve been struggling rhough another “easy” collection of Christmas music for classical guitar and though it’s impressive to be all over the fretboard, I really needed a few pieces I could just get done. This collection provides that with great sounding pieces. Thanks again. _ Ernest LIlley
