Kristian Del CanteroYoung Canadian guitarist Kristian Del Cantero plays Rondeau de Concert, op. 12 by French guitarist and composer Napoléon Coste (1805–1883). Born in Hamilton, Canada in 1998, Kristian Del Cantero is currently studying under the tutelage of Robert Hamilton at the Royal Conservatory of Music’s Taylor Academy in Toronto. Prior to studying in Toronto, Kristian studied with Patrick Feely, guitar professor at McMaster University and Artistic Director of the Guitar Society of Brantford. Next year, he’ll will be studying with Johannes Moller at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Video was filmed, recorded and produced by the amazing Drew Henderson. Nice smooth playing here with a crisp clear sound. Lots of great young players coming out of Toronto these days.

  1. Young Mr. Del Cantero is a fine player with a great sense of phrasing, nice tone control. The reverb, is that a product of electronics or the the mic picking up the sound of the hall?
