Monday, May 5: Paul Galbraith Classical Guitar

Paul Galbraith is a classical guitarist known for his innovative arrangements of classical music for guitar, as well as the co-invention and development of the 8-string Brahms guitar. The Grammy nominated musician has toured internationally, playing with renowned orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, and the BBC Philharmonic, in addition to solo performances at Prague’s Dvorák Hall and Moscow Chamber Orchestra. His album, Bach: The Six Sonatas and Partitas, was nominated for a Grammy and reached Billboard’s Top 10 in the classical charts. His performance at SubCulture on May 5th will feature works by Bach and Mozart, played on his 8-string Brahms Guitar. | Tix: $25 in advance, $30 at the door
