Rolf van Meurs - GuitarRolf van Meurs performs Cavatini Op.7 “Lanquir per una bella” from the Opera L’italiana in Algeri by Rossini (1792-1968). Arranged for guitar solo by Luigi Legnani (1790-1877). Played on an 8-string ‘Legnani model’ made by Bernhard Kresse. This comes via Gitaarsalon (Netherlands) and their YouTube. These period opera transcriptions must have the ‘Youtube cover songs’ of the 19th century, guitarist’s ripping up the new popular aria. Nothing’s changed right?
