Jérémy Peret Plays Villa-Lobos Etudes 4 & 12

Jérémy Peret - Guitar

French guitarist Jérémy Peret plays Etudes No. 4 and 12 by Heitor Villa Lobos (1887-1959) via the 2014 Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition and their YouTube Channel. For some reason I rarely hear anyone play Etude No. 4 so it’s nice to have a good performance of it. It’s always more prettier in places than it looks on the page! Exciting Etude No. 12 is well performed here too. You can buy the sheet music via Amazon, either the classic Eshig Collected Works of Villa-Lobos or a newer one by Zigante based on manuscripts
