Alexandra Whittingham plays Prelude No. 3 by Villa-Lobos

British guitarist Alexandra Whittingham plays Prelude No. 3 by Heitor Villa-Lobos (1887-1959). This comes via her YouTube channel. Beautifully filmed in the Medeival town of Puy-l’Eveque, South-West France by Tom Gradwell. I’ve posted a number of videos of Whittingham back to when she was 17, interesting to see young artists through the years. You can learn more about her via her bio page. Great playing of this very atmospheric prelude and bonus points for having a cat in the video if only for a second!

Sheet Music: Collected Solos (Eshig).
