Elizabeth Pallett Plays Fantasia No.2 by Milán

Elizabeth Pallett performs Fantasia No.2 from El Masestro (1536) by Luis de Milán (c.1500-1561) on a Vihuela by Martin Haycock. This comes via Pallett’s YouTube channel called luteweb with performances on lute and vihuela. I’ve been preparing editions of the fantasias and came across Pallett’s channel and this nice video filmed at St John the Baptist Church, Eastnor UK. Wonderful performance with excellent motivic attention and pacing.
