French guitarist Jérémy Jouve plays 3 Figures Fractales by Atanas Ourkouzounov (b.1970). This comes via the Ourkouzounov’s YouTube Channel. Jouve sounds fantastic as usual in this new challenging work. His excellent phrasing, dynamics, and momentum keep this piece focused and meditative. Dramatic work with some beautiful moments as well. I particularly like the 2nd one at 4:08. Things get pretty funky at 8:55. Guitar by Simon Marty.
