Pardy Minassian performs Comme un Hommage à Ravel (Étude Mélodique No. 3) by Arnaud Dumond (b.1950). This comes via Guitar Salon International and their YouTube channel. “Pardy Minassian (Bardy Minassian) is an Armenian-Syrian classical composer and guitarist, residing in Los Angeles.” (read more via her about page). This is my first time featuring Misassian on the site and I really enjoyed her very musical performance. Nice pacing with lots of very effective dynamic shaping. Dumond has lots of really nice compositions, this one comes from a collection of 36 etudes.
