I found this nice piece in a collection I ordered for students and thought I’d take a moment away from my own content and play this study published by Edizioni Curci. Many people know of Gilardino’s advanced studi but this etude is from his collection for intermediate students (which he is calling facili: easy). The edition can be found here but beware that the other works, although just as educational, do not all sound as traditional in terms of musical language as this one.
