Tim Beattie Plays Nocturne, Reverie Op. 19 by Regondi

Canadian guitarist Tim Beattie performs Nocturne “Reverie” Op. 19 by Giulio Regondi (1823–1872) at Hailes Castle, Scotland. This comes via his YouTube where you can see more info and credits. As he mentioned to me, “We filmed this in Hailes Castle ruin (east lothian, Scotland) on a very wet, chilly morning, as part of a one-take online concert series for the Lammermuir Festival.” Great performance by Beattie who takes a sweet and paced approach to the opening with beautifully legato melodic work while reserving some flare for later on.
