Copiello and Pellanda Perform Des pas sur la neige by Debussy on Guitar and Harp

Giacomo Copiello (Brahms Guitar) and Letizia Pellanda (Harp) present a live performance of their arrangement of Des pas sur la neige by Claude Debussy (1862-1918). This comes via Copiello’s YouTube channel (go subscribe). Beautiful performance and arrangement by Copiello and Pellanda with a delicate and bell-like texture well-matched to the work. They had me at guitar and harp but wonderful performance as well.

The Snow Is Dancing (Des pas sur la neige) is a piano piece by Claude Debussy, composed in 1908 as part of his suite Children’s Corner and the music evokes the delicate movement of snow falling and drifting across a winter landscape. Debussy uses delicate repeated notes, subtle rhythmic patterns, and shifting harmonies to create a quiet, atmospheric miniature.
