Kasia Smolarek performs No Hubo Remedio (Passacaglia sul tema del Dies irae), No. 12 from 24 Caprichos de Goya op.195 by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco (1895-1968). This comes via Smolarek’s YouTube channel. Wonderful performance by Smolarek with nice contrasts between the solemn theme and the spritely sections. Very clean playing with excellent handling of the motivic material.
