Lesson: Practicing Difficult Passages by Gohar Vardanyan

Gohar Vardanyan - Guitar Lesson

A lesson on Practicing Difficult Passages brought to you by Strings By Mail (thanks!) and Gohar Vardanyan. This is a nice lesson for beginner to intermediate students who are trying to discover what is necessary in the practice room to accomplish pieces successfully. I think the important thing to consider is that everyone will tell you to practice smart and efficiently rather and just repeat a ton of repetitions. Then again, in the end, pros practice smart and efficiently and do indeed use repetition! Seems like a simple idea but don’t shrug it off. The true meaning of this may take years for students to understand, partly because it means something a little bit different to each person. You need to understand what this means for YOU, your brain, and your body.
