Mourning Mist by Joseph M. Russo


Here’s the second post from my new category called “New Music Mondays” where music from contemporary composers is explored. This one is Mourning Mist for Guitar and String Quartet by Joseph M Russo. THe guitar adds a nice rhythmic and harmonic effect here as it shifts between melodic and harmonic chording… I like the intro where the guitar plays next to the cello pizzicato…
