As a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and professional guitarist and teacher for 22 years, I think Bradford provides high quality music education. His Youtube channel and website are incredible resources for those interested in learning the classical guitar. I’m primarily a jazz and original guitarist, but developed a love for the classical guitar 3 years ago, and since then I’ve bought many of his books, downloaded lots of sheet music from the site, and watched tons of his videos. Everyday I practice many of the exercises in his technique book and the music he recommends learning from his graded system, and I’m making a lot of progress. I highly recommend his educational videos and materials.

It all started in a guitar shop where people advised me to learn sheet music. I am very grateful that there are websites like this with a nice and serious approach. I will continue to learn.

I have bought and followed a few pieces now, it works well, and the pieces are presented with the level of skill required to attempt them, this has really helped me to break the habit of attempting to learn pieces that are at present too advanced for me. I rate this channel highly

I have been following Bradford for a few years. I have picked my repertoire based on his grade evaluation and used a few of his editions to learn these pieces. The technique guides have also been extremely helpful.

Thanks to this site (and diligent practice) I have become a much better player over the years and have internalized many of Bradford’s key point (like isolating the voices and then balancing them).

Even though I have worked with a teacher for a few years now, when I start a new piece I still often check if there is a lesson on it. All in all, alongside Classical Guitar Corner the website and YouTube channel Bradford has worked on creating over the years is by far the best and most comprehensive guide for beginner up to advanced intermediate players available online.

In our state of West Virginia, there are few music teachers and none in our area who teach classical guitar. Zero. I used the first volume of the beginner course to get started, and am working through the second volume now although I’ve had to slow down due to arthritis. I also play with 2 students at our local disability action center and we use the course to play together. I have learned so much and love the opportunities to listen and appreciate all the classical artists featured. Thank you so much, it has changed my life.

All i have to say is that bradford’s courses are well structured and built to be able to follow along and improve gradually, without giving people fake hope or promises.to keep it short just follow his courses step by step without skipping and u will unquestionably improve.

I picked up classical guitar in 2019 using Bradford Werner’s method book to self-study. I worked through it slowly over the course of a year, making use of his accompanying videos. I found both the book and videos extremely useful and was able to go from no guitar knowledge whatsoever to performing in my first recital! Thanks so much for all of the resources.

I’ve been learning online from Bradford for almost 10 years, starting from an absolute beginner (I didn’t even have a classical guitar yet!). I’ve worked my way through his beginner method books, early-intermediate and intermediate lessons, exercise books, graded repertoire, and lots more. His videos are clear and easy to learn from, and his gentle and friendly manner take the fear out of learning. There’s lots of material one can purchase from the site, but there is so much free information and sheet music, too — there’s just no excuse. And when you’re learning, the curated videos of other professionals is really inspiring. Highly recommend. I can’t say enough good things about Bradford and this website.

Bradford has an excellent instruction site for guitar. All skill levels from beginner through grades 1-6.

Many helpful instruction books are available as well as a thorough syllabus to help you stay on focused and motivated.

It’s a very helpful site with lots of sheet music and instructional videos. The prices are reasonable with occasional sales and discounts, and some arrangements are free. Beautiful clear demonstrations, lovely to listen to.

I’ve followed his YouTube videos for years and still regularly use this site and his emails for reference and inspiration.
