New York-based Australian classical guitarist Rupert Boyd plays La Muerte del Angel by Argentine composer Ástor Piazzolla (1921–1992) via his YouTube Channel. This is the Benitez arrangement. You might have heard of Boyd from his work with the Australian Guitar Duo with guitarist Jacob Cordover. Top form here. Nicely played and very rhythmic. I like how he maintains a sweet sound even when playing blazing fast. I also like how his guitar case is almost equally featured, does it have a name? You can check out pics of Rupert and his trusty case around the world on his blog. You can get the sheet music via Amazon: Piazzolla (Benitez).
