Sanel Redžić plays Suite BWV 997 by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) on classical guitar. This comes via Redžić’s fantastic YouTube channel. Recorded in Schottenkirche Erfurt, Germany. Redzic has recorded almost all the ‘lute’ suites at this point some of which I’ve previously featured. Great pacing and articulations throughout. Loved his performance of the fuga with lots of attention to the subject and a meditative mood yet still with plenty of forward momentum and push.
