Evangelina Mascardi Plays Sonata No.48 by Weiss

Evangelina Mascardi performs Sonata No.48 in F sharp minor (Dresden Manuscript) by Sylvius Leopold Weiss (1686–1750) on a 13-course lute. Recorded at Bishop’s Palace of Orte (Italy) by E. Lambertenghi & A. Zeccara. This comes via Mascardi’s amazing YouTube channel. Beautiful performance by Mascardi with excellent pacing and such flowing phrasing of this wonderful, but difficult, Weiss sonata.
