Francesco Trevisani – Young Woman Playing The Lute

I have to remember that the tagline of the site is exploring classical guitar through multimedia. I haven’t kept enough to the ‘multi’ media part. So here’s some Baroque era artwork by Francesco Trevisani. His Wiki: Francesco Trevisani (April 9, 1656 – July 30, 1746) was an Italian painter, active in the period called either early Rococo or late Baroque (barochetto).

Her neck is going to get super sore if she keeps reading like that.

Help Support the Site

Support the site. You're reading one of the most popular independent classical guitar publications online. The website, newsletter, and lessons are available to everyone for free. But it’s difficult and expensive work. Corporations and social media have caused falling revenues across the web making it increasingly challenging for independent publishers. If you value the website, newsletter, free lessons, or sheet music, please consider offering your support to keep its future sustainable and secure. – Bradford Werner

This is a great site. It is laid out thoughtfully, and I love hearing from my students after I recommend it to them.
