Goran Krivokapić performs the music of Antonio Lauro (1917-1986) on classical guitar. The above video is Angostura – Vals Venezolano. This comes via his Krivokapić’s YouTube channel. As he mentions, this is the “first in a series of videos of Lauro’s music, Angostura is one of his most well-known pieces. Recorded in the enchanting Abbaye de Marmoutier, Alsace, France.” Looking forward to the rest of the videos which I’ll add to this post as they get released. Krivokapić is one of my favourite players and usually playing some pretty serious repertoire so it’s nice to hear another side of him but still with some seriously good playing.
