Andante in C by Johann Kaspar Mertz (1806-1856) from his method Schule für die Guitarre. This is an active piece with a nice melody but also some active accompaniment. Once you’ve learned the chord shapes and understand the fingering it is fairly easy and secure. Make sure to keep your left hand aligned so the C sharps in the bass don’t catch you off guard.
