Cuban composer Leo Brouwer’s Etude No. 4 from Estudios Sencillos. I play the study and then give a lesson on musical and guitar related ideas. I would place this at the early-intermediate level but beginners and advanced players can still get a lot from working on it. This is a great etude for thumb legato, balance, dynamics, and rhythm..
