Oman Kaminsky Plays l’immortelle by Gaultier

Oman Kaminsky plays his arrangement of l’immortelle by French lutenist and composer Ennemond Gaultier (c.1575-1651). Guitar maker: Jan Tulacek, after J. G. Shertzer. This comes via his YouTube channel. Sweet and short piece but such a beautiful selection from this important composer of the 17th century French lute school. Great playing by Kaminsky with a flowing yet elaborate performance. The extra strings make a big difference to the sound and register separation but also his ornamentation and figuration give it that special early music feel. Looking forward to more and will post as he does.
