Agustin Barrios was a Paraguayan classical guitarist and composer. He was one of the great performers of his time and a prolific composer. Preludio en Re (Preludio in D Minor) is a short intermediate work that almost sounds like a blending of Romantic and Baroque styles or Tarrega and Bach. In general, follow the upper melodic line but be aware of the lower voice as well since there is some good counterpoint here. The harmonics might seem tricky at first but just relax the tempo and don’t try to push through them too much. Here is the YouTube Lesson link if you want to watch my performance and lesson there.
