French guitarist Jérémy Jouve and Cellist François Salque plays Sonate pour guitare et violoncelle en quatre rêves (Sonata for Guitar and Cello in Four Dreams), IV. Rêve fou (Crazy Dream) by French composer and multi-instrumentalist Mathias Duplessy (b.1972). Great playing as usual from Jouve, hopefully we’ll get to hear all four movements (I’ll update this post as they get released).
Great playing from both musicians. So nice to see some composers writing for guitar and other instruments. I look forward to hearing the whole piece.
