Each study has a dedication and often resembles the musical or artistic style of the dedicatee in some way. Robert Gerhard i Ottenwaelder (1896–1970) was a Spanish Catalan composer, musical scholar, and writer. Brilliant performance by Rugolo with excellent contrasts in both sound and presentation of the form.
