Some technique, theory, and beginner pieces for classical guitar. The main goal is sit and hold the hand properly and learn to present music from start to finish. Various other skills are also discussed. Make sure you’ve covered the previous lessons first. Hello, Professor Bradford! While watching the video, I noticed that you didn’t comment on the lessons on page 47 (Exercise 1, Exercise 2, Frére Jacques, Merrily We Roll Along); anyway, I tried practicing them before moving on.
Those are under the sight reading category so I felt students should work them out on their own.
Ah, now I understand, thanks! I’ve been practicing, and it’s been going well; I’m about halfway through the book, and it’s been a great experience! Thank you so much!
Thanks so much! Am learning to play the guitar @ age 66! Have your book, making progress, much to learn, will start each day with the scale now, having fun!
Bradford: Thanks for including the arpeggio piece by Glass. I am a big fan of Glass. Are their other Glass pieces inluded in your lesson plans? Thank you. Tom
It’s really just some arpeggios but I had to give it name so I titled it Glass! Not an actually Glass piece or anything.
