Known by a few names, Jaime Felipe José Bosch (Catalan: Jaume Bosch i Renard) but popularly known in France as Jacques Bosch. He was a Catalan guitarist and composer established in Paris. His method is filled with nice little works such as this one. This Leçon (lesson or exercise) is a great opportunity to learn initial muting technique as well as utilizing a more active texture with basic first position chord progressions.
