The Classical period was an era of music between roughly 1730 and 1820 filled with amazing operas, symphonies, piano music, concertos and more. The music of Mozart and Haydn sum up the era nicely and culminate with the daring music of Beethoven. The Classical era is between the Baroque and the Romantic eras. This is also the era of the 18th and 19th century guitar that almost exactly matches the modern classical guitar besides a difference in size.
